Parsing words like Dershowitz? What the hell is the difference between colonialism and imperialism anyway? Are you saying US is imperialistic? If so in what sense? The current american empire is here to benefit the world or at least try to in my opinion. mike

Israeli tanks fire near Arafat compound cnn
Hours after a suicide bomber killed five people in Tel Aviv, Israeli troops in armored personnel carriers advanced near Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Ramallah compound and opened fire with machine guns, according to chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat. The Israeli military confirmed there were ongoing operations in Ramallah, but would not give further details.
