In house-to-house fighting, an AK-47 is a very effective weapon.

The option to house-to-house fighting if the Iraqis fight instead of surrender is massive bombing, and that would incur the wrath of the world community because civilian casualties would be high.

Just because the Gulf War was a rather clean affair doesn't mean that history will repeat itself.

See, it's like the dumbocrats believe that saddam will eventually conquer us anyway, so the wise thing to do is just buy a little time by allowing him to build up his army and let him strike when he wants to.
