Hi Dave,

Right I'm a GM dealer in Texas.

I've never heard of these guys before.Their product is WAY TOOOO Pricey for my country market!

I'll give them a call and get their sales pitch and brochure.

Good point about the margin for installers - I wonder what volume discounts exist.

Bob

David, Becker's high end customers are not that price sensitive. Why should KVH have to make that drastic a price drop to get this business?

It's not like this is a commodity item. No one else can supply what Becker wants - they said so in the P/R.

<< "We selected the KVH TracVision and TracNet because there was nobody else in the industry who could offer the two-in-one approach of satellite TV and Internet. This design simplifies installation and minimizes the number of antennas that are mounted on the roof. ">>

KVH is just OEMing to them, not branding their products. I'm sure KVH will offer some kind of volume discount, but why that deep when there are no competing products? I just can't see it. Why couldn't Becker just add a markup?
