Bob, I didn't know where in Texas you were, but i thought that you might sell a few if you were in Dallas or Houston. Its probably more of an LA/NY thing. To Sectors point on pricing, i was assuming that your $9k estimate was a retail price and that there would be a normal margin for the retailer/installer. What you were saying was that it's a wholesale product-only price and that retailers would mark up from there. Gotcha. Here's a different issue thats been nagging at me: if i have a DirectTV subscription at home, how do i get an "extension" to my car? Or do i have to pay the full whack monthly again? If DTV can't technically allow non-simultaneous access to the subscription, then they will not facilitate the kind of cheap incremental subscriptions that KVHI needs to be successful.
