The fourth or fifth glass!

Rub it in, why don't you. ;-)

When we travelled to France and Italy, I could drink red wine with impunity. It really bums me out that it effects me so badly here. But knowing there's folks who can drink it without headache does my heart good. Sorta.

Not only is red wine a headache-food, but white wine is too, though not as much, so some migraine people (lucky Poet) can do white but not red.

I can't even eat grapes or plums or raisins unless I'm prepared to pay the price. They all contain that chemical, tyramine. And if I'm going to pay a price for tyramine, it's going to be for chocolate or brie, not for raisins.

The only reason I can think of that a green salad should have anything to do with a headache is that it might have a dangerous vinegar in its dressing.

All the people who don't have food sensitivities that cause their heads to feel as though they're being sat on by an elephant should be feeling so lucky right now.
