I do not include those groups where individuals might harbor such feelings, but it is not part of the program, nor do I count mob action, since it is fickle, and can be struck with remorse and chagrin as swiftly as it is aroused.(See "To Kill a Mockingbird", the scene in front of the jail, for a good illustration. Scout recognizes various of the men intending to lynch the prisoner, and they become ashamed and disperse). I would include the Klan itself, since terror and lynching was part of its conscious repertoire, and I certainly would include groups like the Aryan Nation, which are mainly limited by size and means from going on a rampage.......
