And only 10 dollars a month. Non anonymous. Cheap. And they have Unix text only posting. I will bet that is the icing on the cake. The fifteen dollar a month members probably feel at least 50% superior. Alive and Well. That was an intentional pun, right? If not, then it is a pun. Alive and Well. Their name is the "Well." And they are, well, Well. Get it? Ok, never mind. Let's start an ad dominated, banner in your face site. But we get to solicit our advertisers. Quality manufacturers of yachts, ritzy automobiles, environmentalists causes, private clubs. If they don't have a banner we sell them one. All the stuff we really can't afford but wish we could. You can see it. You hit on a reply to post, and in your face is this annoying sail boat, advertising "Sparkman and Stephenson, Yacht brokers. Buy Jackie Onassis' Oil of O'Layed, while it's still floating" ... or ... "Step up in taste. Drive a Packard. Stop looking trashy because your folks were hillbillies." EC<:-}
