case in point --> I have stated publicly and loudly for 34 years that I disliked the fact that liberals only seem to want to steal money *and* give it to their socially aligned friends. i.e. in Canada --> Trudeau, Chretien, Mulroney et al $ --> Quebec.

In the states that is like saying Democrats like Kennedy and Carter were populist money wasters who lined the pockets of pig farmers whose real product was fairy dust. (You can't smell the cocaine on a pig farm)

I am sure opinons like that can cost a guy money. Opinions like that have cost me money.

But -->It cost me more money trusting business partners who told me that "a handshake was good enough for them." (It was, but not for me -- I was on the wrong side of the shake.) Or -- "only do business with people you trust." Afterwards is too late to find out who to trust.
