But with 1-click, you can't cancel.

If it's an item ordered directly from Amazon.com (as opposed to one of their partner merchants), you actually can change a one click order if you do it fast enough:

Viewing or Changing Your 1-Click Orders

While orders placed via 1-Click for items from Amazon Merchants cannot be changed once they are placed, it's easy to change any detail of an order placed via 1-Click for an item sold by Amazon.com. Simply visit the item's product information page and click the "review or edit" link near the top of the page. You will be taken to the Order Summary page. Provided that the order has not yet entered the shipping process, you can then change anything about the order, including item quantity, shipping address, shipping method, and payment method.

Please note: Any changes you make to the 1-Click settings for a particular order will only affect that order. If you want to permanently change your default 1-Click settings, visit Your Account and click the "View or change your 1-Click settings" link under the Account Settings heading.

amazon.com

I think most books and CD's at least would be covered by this policy.

When you get the Cake Mix Doctor, try the devil's food cake. It's incredible. And their chocolate marshmallow frosting is extremely easy to make, not overly sweet, and delicious.

Did you unorder the soup mix book? That one intrigued me.
