Mike, If Sharon followed "Bush" policy, he would preemptively destroy the air forces of Egypt, Syria, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. He should also destroy Iraq's WMD. Sharon's destruction of Arafat's compound is symbolic. Maximum effect with minimum casualties on both sides. Bush wants to launch a full scale war. The destruction and casualties could be horrific. I saw that the kidney of one of the suicide bomber victims was transplanted to a Palestinian child, a little girl.
