Those that fail to learn from the mistakes of the past are condemned to repeat them again. Lets see if Congress steps up to the plate and really does its job. We are just starting to see some meaningful hearings with tough questions.

my sources indicate US soldiers dying in Afghany, not told in the 1980's the Soviet Union told their population that Soviet soldiers were going to Afghany to fight and die against American opponents !!! people will believe almost anything proffered as truth by the only govt they have now the USA population is told we are building a parliamentary govt in Afghany right, sure, are you kidding? instead, US soldiers are dying over there in ambushes and the press is not being told about it our attention is on Iraq now my guess is one reason for Iraq is to divert attention from the looming disaster in Afghany!!! as Civil War breaks out / jim
