well, for technology and capex I have thought that a double dip was irrelevant or not going to happen, only because we are still in the first dip and declining. So all the DD news yesterday seems somewhat irrelevant to me as far as tech is concerned since no capex is being deployed anyway. WRT war, I think there is just a whole bunch of uncertainty and an (amazing) repeat of 1990 when Bush sr. ignored the economy completely and fought a war brilliantly only to lose in the next election. Of course bush lost in my region so people never liked him. L
