Obviously you have another opinion. I accept that you have another opinion. I do not accept that it is right. Think back to CH. I ACCEPTED that you had another opinion of what happened. I just didn't think it was correct. And guess who couldn't accept alternate POV's? I'll give you a hint. It wasn't me. E you NEVER appear to be able to accept alternate POV's. Not EVER. Of course that is just the way it appears to me. I'm sure it appears differently to you. I think you are self important. I think you are a lady on a constant crusade about something. Your persona appears driven by your crusades, and I don't see any tolerance in you. Of course you are tolerant of people who agree with you (aren't we all). But you have no ability (or so it seems to me) to accept that there is another side to anything, let alone everything. Your family situation, while appealing to pathos, does not really have anything to do with the logic of what I said. It has nothing to do with WHY I think those kinds of "jokes" are wrong, and dehumanizing. I assume the person in that picture is real. I assume she didn't consent to have her picture used that way. I wouldn't want MY picture used that way. Ergo, for me, it is a wrong. No matter where you spent your time today, tomorrow or yesterday. My doubts about the SO are based on the lectures and writings of people with disabilities. As I said, I don't KNOW the right answer- I only know there are many POV's. Again you fail to realize that that is all I was saying. My "doubts" were only to give expression to the concerns of many people with disabilities. Are they being PC in not wanting to be patronized? Are they being PC in not wanting to be exploited by a corporate organization? I don't know. Am I being PC for mentioning their POV? I take into account their voices. And I know their POV exists. And even though it may not be my POV, I can still acknowledge its existence.
