Silly.

The fact that he did not react in knee jerk reaction to create a new bureaucracy speaks well of Bush. And the security concerns he had of rushing forward before completion of the Congressional investigations are now allayed. He did his job.

I disagree with the 1st part of your statement. The President has done an outstanding job of protecting our country in the aftermath of 9-11-01. What evidence do you put forward that indicates he has not? The lack of a follow up attack speaks volumes, and Afghanistan is on its way to being a nation that is not just a cover for terrorists.

I agree with the second part that Daschle is a "puny little Congressman". Or Senator. Whatever.
