Tom Bierovic ... a name out of the past. Tom presented a paper ("Momentum Retracement: How to Buy Declines and Sell Rallies for Consistent Trading Profits") at the Dow Jones TAG XIX Conference in Las Vegas, October, 1997. He also gave a pre-conference workshop, "Tools of the Trade", about basic technical analysis. I also have a 1992 monograph by Tom, "A Synergistic Approach to Profitable Trading". Tom was a good teacher and seemed to be a very decent person. I don't know anything about what he might have had to do with Sachs, however. Google will give you three hits on "Tom Bierovic". This might be a good time to review those old lessons.
