Green, Have you looked at the areospace/defense and homeland security sectors as potential longs? Federal spending is about to ramp up in these areas, so the key is to be positioned early and wait. Some of these plays will be hybrid stocks, so they are not easily found in a scan. Here is a thread where a few of us identify possible plays: Subject 51759 Mostly, I play small caps/micro caps long. My philosophy is that there is always something going up even in a bear market.
