You give great reading, E. How interesting, and how sad, IMO, that Hitchens left The Nation. I understand his reasoning and am disappointed to see the magazine become yet another ideologically-entrenched rag. More than ever, we need intelligent debate between right and left. Cockburn's remarks prove to me that part of feminism's goal of equalizing behavior between the sexes is now coming to fruition: men are now being as catty as women. Of course, they still look silly. -g
