I just remembered that the Pollitt piece about her boyfriend leaving her was in the NYer. And we don't have that issue any more, though there are unread issues from three years ago around here. The cartoons await. That one got speicial attention paid to it because it was called to my astonished attention by a girlfriend. Talk about revenge. Check back issues of the NYer. It was in the last 8 weeks, I'd say, and was certainly more than 3 weeks ago. The only thing I read in the Nation was Hitchens, unless someone called and told me to read some particular piece.
