OK. I went back and reread the post, and I see the problem. I meant to make it clear that the "Islamist" movement has spread like a virus through Islam. You can read it the other way. I have tried to be very careful not to "trash" the whole Religion. We were discussing a book recently whose POV was that this type of behavior is endemic, but I don't think that is true.
