EST 2000 System Available on the GSA Schedule
Monday September 30, 2:31 pm ET

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 2002--ECC International Corp., (AMEX:ECC - News) and Advanced Interactive Systems (AIS) have made the Engagement Skills Trainer 2000 (EST 2000) system available on the Government Services Administration (GSA) schedule. ECC is the developer and producer of the system and AIS will provide the weapons. EST 2000 is currently in production for the U.S. Army and other forces.
"We welcome this opportunity to provide such superior training capability to other U.S. agencies," stated Frank Perry, vice president, Military/Government Division of AIS, "The GSA schedule provides an excellent opportunity for smaller military forces to expedite the purchase of the training system through a commercial process." EST 2000 is the only small arms training system validated by the United States Army Infantry School (USAIS). As the most accurate small arms weapons training system available today, this device trains marksmanship skills, squad level collective defense, and judgmental shoot-don't shoot tactics. Training can be performed on various weapons including rifles, pistols, machine guns, shotguns, anti-tank, and grenade launchers.

According to Jim Henderson, ECC's interim president and chief executive officer, "ECC is currently delivering small arms training systems to the U.S. Army, National Guard, Army Reserve forces and the Israeli Defense Forces. Due to the system's outstanding accuracy and flexibility, there is a growing interest within other U.S. agencies as well as international customers."
