Things have been peaceful here. There is a rerun of last night's Survivor on in the living room, and Poet baked a pie which makes a wonderful breakfast snack. <g>

I'm going to lie down -- er, I mean lay -- umm, lie -- oh whatever! -- I am going to place my lazy *ss down on this rug and sleep for awhile. Sticking to my core competencies this morning.

Welcome back to MH!

I want to hear about scuba diving, in detail. Like, how you started doing it and what keeps you going back.

My bro in law wants us to go scuba diving with him some time.

Is there a learning curve? How hard is it to become confident?

If you're afraid of rodents and spiders and cats and the dark, are you likely to freak if fishes dart about near you in the dim underwater? I have a feeling I wouldn't, but are there people who go and as soon as they get under the H2O and the fishes come near them get the heck out of the water asap?
