I think if I say what I require, and what I require is basically only considerateness me, that's pretty simple.

I did offer a number of examples of occasions on which reading matter does little to mitigate the discomfiture being kept waiting can cause. But they weren't complicated, they were only examples.

Maybe my requirements plus examples of inconsiderateness of which reading doesn't banish the unpleasant effect, makes it complicated.
