Exactly as I said. Germany became a very powerful military nation, assaulted its neighbors (in self-defense, as Bush is currently proposing), and was still not taken seriously by the Allies. Perhaps they were waiting to build up their own militaries before engaging Germany, but there is no doubt that the comparison of late 1930s Germany to current Iraq is preposterous. Iraq got crushed in 1991, and Iraq's military is a shadow of its former self. One reason is that we have put an arms blockade on Iraq, including those chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons that we were selling Iraq back in the 1980s.

I'm glad you've given up that ridiculous argument that Germany was attacking us in WWI.
