It was an editorial about the news. An editorial is opinion about news. I know there's a whole host of columnists these days who specialize in gleeful distortion-- Ann Coulter and Maureen Dowd among them-- but their editorials are diminished by this. IMO. I don't know about you, but all I know about Rob Reiner is that he is a talented actor and director with an interest in politics. I think we once had a President who was an actor, did we not? Do you think that a background in Hollywood should preclude public service?
