First, congratulations to your family. You must be very proud of your son. May he serve his time in the service safely.

Gore was one of the few Dems who voted for the Gulf War, as far as I know. And he made it clear in his speech that it was important to keep our eye and resources trained on al Qaeda as well as Iraq: hardly a failure to address the issue of terrorism, IMO.
