As to Kashmir, I expected that to come up. That has been a long-running territorial dispute between India and Pakistan that goes back all the way to Indian and Pakistani independence. They have never agreed on a border. And probably never will. :-)

The real stupidity is that both countries would be better off if they would just settle the matter and get down to making their people rich.
