Yea, techs are going lower....but sheez...if I didnt short JDSU at 200, 100, 50, even 10...I am not going to short it now at $2..I sold it, and washed my hands of it, and wont buy anymore...but I wont short it now either..how much upside do I have versus downside....same with extr and a host of others that have, and are, getting killed....if I didnt short them at 100+, why short now at $3...is everything going to .25cents?? And who knows, maybe I am better off shorting extr at $3-$4, but I'm not going to.....To me that would be just like jumping on the bull when naz was at 4800.......kind of a little late to the party if you started buying techs when jdsu was 200, LU at $75 and etc, etc.....not saying we will be late to the party by going short now, as we very possibly could be in for a long downtrend.....but if I am scared $hitless to buy more extr at $3.50, then I will be that much more scared shorting any of the once high flyers, now under $5....and I wouldnt feel safe shorting the bigger boys either like msft, ibm and etc......hell, I dont feel safe doing anything in this market?? I just hope, at 38 years of age, in 20 years, this will all just be a bad memory.........and kind of wonder just how low they will bring naz and S & P, before people start seeing value and start buying again and feel safe about it.....

That chojoro guy is from the sebl thread...

I'm from a lot of other stock specific threads too.

... when sebl does pop, as it has from time to time... 7.5 to 9.75 a while back there... he disappears.

Lizzy, you are so wrong.
I don't "disappear" when something pops.
I just don't turn the computer on every day.

I don't know... all I can figure is that the bears are all young, traders and felt left behind

Funny, I see the bulls as a bunch of young immature kids.
Look at Kieth. He doesn't even know how to place a value on a security let along invest responsibly.

<<I'm a real estate bear though. And maybe some consumer stocks.>>

Lizzy, take a look at PII.

As disposable cash becomes mortgage money or CCinterest
I think a lot less people will be buying snowmobiles and ATVs.
Trading at a TTM P/E of just over 14, it's not expensive
I'm thinking more along the lines of a P/E with considerably less revenues.
