Thatcher -- she gets no extra points for being a woman Yeah, buts it's tougher for a woman to get to that position. Of course, she was one tough cookie. As the Argentines found out. There was also at that time this about "Women aren't tough enough to be war leaders- -which may be required." She settled that. (Golda Meir didn't?)
