Hi prop,
kayaker came up with a link where they described the differences between synch and asynch wcdma (post 27319). Do you think it is worth trying to circumvent the GPS (satellite) solution? I think it is complete bafoonery. Both technically and politically.

The atomic clock that I refer to is the NIST (national inst of standards and technology) clock that they keep in Boulder Colorado, from which they radio broadcast the official time. nist.time.gov for the eastern time.

nist.time.gov for other regions.

nist.gov home page.
