neo, why is it a most lamentable failure? You figure the majority of blacks living today in America would be better off still living in Africa. Aids, famine and being hacked to death. Was bringing people to America where their children ended up with far better lives lamentable. The Republic put in place a set of rules that over time let good people overcome ignorance and provide all men with equal opportunity. But beating back ignorance is a continuous war. That's not easy. Overcoming ignorance. How many millions of people voted to have a rapist be President. That is what I call a lamentable failure of the current Republic.
