You'd think the WH would take the time to dig up the document Bush *might* have been referring to, just to clear this up and build up the public's confidence in his statements of the sort.

It'd be helpful, I think.

A lot of time statements like "Iraq is 6 months away from getting nukes" are just guesses. Even the head of the Iraqi nuclear weapons program wouldn't know exactly how long it will take.
