"We are not a colony of Britain, not since 1867. 135 years ago!! LMAO at you?"

More evidence of your brilliant educational background. Canada as a nation was formed in 1867 with the declaration of the British North American Act. That was Canada's first Constitution. Canada was essentially a colony of Britain until the 1980's. At that time, the late PM P.E. Treaudu (sp Damn French names!) managed to get Queen Elizabeth to sign off on the power of the Monarchy over Canada, to a symbolic position. Hence the Governor General of Canada.

Man you sound like one of those kids of Canadian TV who are asked by reporters on Remembrance Day "Do you know where Vimmy Ridge is? And what Canada did there?"

Kid response: "Duh? Where is the Play Station?"
