Oh, definitely. That did sound accurate. I assume, as your note suggests, that there were tensions between Clinton and T during Clinton's presidency but my memory is that T was among the most vigorous defenders of Clinton during the impeachment process.

And, of course, Clinton, much to his credit, can show his emotions in public. What surprised me yesterday was that Torricelli did because he can't. I assume that was because it was, as he said, the most painful thing he had ever done.

Yeah, just the way he used to when he was getting his "family counseling" about Monica from the "Rev Jackson." (OK, last Clinton reference)
