re: t is my feeling that attacking Iraq will just add more fuel to the Terrorist fire, not remove some.

if you give in into terrorism the long term effects on economy would be devastating.......

"Adding more reasons for terrorists to act will in turn keep things very uncertain,"

it is the same point as above but still nothing adds more uncertainty than constant threat and dependance.....

require tighter security = bigger gov't, which will hurt global trade, travel and our economy.

you mean military and police force, true but you are not looking at cost/benefit but just cost which creates a one-sided view....

I ask why is the Bush Administration more scared of Saddam than his neighboring countries or other members of the UN security Council (France and Russia)?

who is more likely to use WMD?
(a) Russia
(b) France
(c) Iraq

hint: do you need one? .... <ggggg>

FT,

Re: I ask why is the Bush Administration more scared of Saddam than his neighboring countries or other members of the UN security Council (France and Russia)?

Bush is, as usual, lying when he talks about Iraq being a security threat to the U.S. This is just propaganda proposed to cover his insane blood lust and by extension, his willfully evil desire to transfer the wealth of the American taxpayer to a cabal of criminal war racketeers. Like his Poppy at the Carlyle Group.

I has a delightful conversation with my lawyer brother-in-law last night. When I mentioned the U.S. Department of Justice........... he immediately corrected me. He said that in the U.S. we have a "legal" system. We do not have a "justice" system.

I couldn't disagree.
