Maybe they should just put the runner-up into the race, like Miss America. It doesn't seem very democratic to eliminate the election either. Torecelli has been an embarassment to the Democratic party since he started so I'm rather glad he's gone. If it were my call at the Democratic headquarters I would stage a massive write-in campaign.

Sir, you simply do not understand. When the law is inconvenient, we shall simply reinterpret it to get the result we want. After all, if it's good enough for a President (Bill Clinton), why shouldn't it be good enough for TP?
