It really doesn't matter who the Democratic Nominee is. THey will use all the money to run against Bush. Some Bumper Stickers: "A vote for Forrest is a Vote for Bush" "Vote Democrat save the Balance of Power in Washington" "If you don't like the Bush, you won't like the Forrest."

One more. Let's imagine the following scenario. NJ Supreme Court rules in the Dem's favor. Reps appeal to the Federal Supreme Court. It rules in the Reps favor. What a terrible moment for respect for the court system. Bought and paid for by political parties. Many in my tribe already believe the Gore Bush case hammered that hard. That one would raise the ante even higher. Hard on democracy when the arbiters can not be trusted. ummm...come again? Are you saying that if the SC rules that the NJ Dems cannot substitute a Senatorial candidate it's because it is bought and paid for by the Repubs? The ONLY reason?
