From the "what do you expect??" files. . .

09:01 ET Catalina Marketing lowers Q2, full year guidance (POS) 27.97: Co lowers Q2 guidance to $0.22-$0.23 in EPS and rev growth of 6-8% (about $110.2-$112.3 mln), vs consensus ests of $0.26 and $121.3 mln; co also lowers FY03 guidance to $1.12-$1.17 and rev growth of 10-13% (about $491.4-$504.8 mln), vs consensus ests of $1.28 and $527.3 mln. Co cites a decrease in the amount of promotional spending by pharma clients, and says retail pharmacies "have become more selective in their program participation."

Change the ticker symbol, you "marketing" gurus!

i think the Birds are gonna do it. my pick (before last night) was Twinkies / Cards in a re-match of 1987. Cards have better 1-8 than the D'Backs, and WAY better than the Braves, and their pitching matches up well enough.

St Louis takes the Series in 6.

and yes i am a Red Sox fan, and yes again Nomar is sitting at home. i still however fail to see your point. the Yankees don't win 'because of' Jeter, they win despite him.

Cheers
