That designation is a fallacy of recent times, and offers no documented ownership to any part of the area in question. The name they call themselves is not important. The fact is, there have been non-Jewish Islamic Arabs living in the area for more than 1000 years. IMO, they have just as much claim to some land as the Jews whose families have been living in the area for 3000 years. This is exactly the same argument that helped Nelson Mandela bring an end to apartheid, even if his memory has faded. IC
