The B2's in Afghanistan were used from Missouri initially (using in-air refueling and relief crews) and then later on I think some were from Diego Garcia. Since Afghanistan was not a "target rich" environment, they were used sparingly and mainly for effect, I think. In Iraq you would need more of them.

Have you ever seen one of those in person?

They are scary looking.
