yup I know what you mean sometimes the only winning portion of trip knocks on your door at 4 in the morning <g>. And even that is like craps... fun hitting the cum line and establishing a new point but often times the money disappears via the process.

p.s. gaming note: most people use the term 'you crapped out' to mean you had a bad situation happen in life from some kind of gamble. In fact the true term should be 'you sevened out.' Since most players play the pass line, craps on the first roll is a loser but once a point is established it is ALWAYS more detrimental to have the roller roll a 7, thereby losing the player more money. Plus the 7 indicates the end of that game whereas a craps on first roll only indicates no 'game' got started in a sense (no point established). Interesting to note that the mean number of throws to roll a seven is only 5. Many might be surprised by that fact. There are 6x6= 36 combinations from rolling two dice. Only 6/36 or 1/6 are 7's while 30/36 or 5/6 are all other numbers combined. So on each roll there is only a 16.67% chance to roll a seven but a 83.33% chance to roll any other number.

OT - RTS, Don't beat yourself up! You appear to be bookin' some decent wins. It's so easy to look back and see the better play. IMO, while it's certainly important to learn from one's past mistakes, I believe too much livin' in the past can erode confidence in a winnin' style. Time will add experience and improvements will follow. FWIW, I suggest not rushin' to change somethin' that's workin' OK.
