Ok I'll be nice because it's apparent you're not well versed in this area. Are you aware there are no free sources of hydrogen? By that I mean this: you don't drill for hydrogen it doesn't exist in any substantial quantities in the oceans or air as H2. The only way to obtain usable quantities is through the release of attached hydrogen in molecules. The best source for large quantities of hydrogen is from oil. Yes you can get from water by separating the H2-O molecule, but it takes energy to do that and is extremely inefficient, so the hydrogen source of choice is oil and or gas.

California's grand experiment of solar and wind energy generation should be enough to debunk those 2 as being viable.
