OT: Hawkmoon, If a child hasn't learned empathy by the age of three, HE NEVER WILL. Children dumped into daycare centers at the age of 12 weeks are more likely to become emotionally disconnected.

You refer to victimizers ".. A layer that often provides the perpetrator the excuse that he's robbing an "uncaring and exploitive society" and not a human being who just wants to live their life and raise their families in peace and mutual respect. " People who think that way are sociopathic, and this is directly attributable to bad or indifferent parenting.

Children who come from loving homes and whose responsible parents have been there for them do not become unfeeling psychopaths.

The legal system in this country is terrible with repsect that it is often skewed to favor the criminal over the victim. There's more in the news about people unjustly incarcerated than about people unjustly attacked, killed, molested, raped by criminals. What can be done to change that? I don't know. However, as to child molesters, by the time they are caught they have perpetrated 72 assaults. There is absolutely NO rehabilitating those people ever. A murderer might be more salvageable, but probably not those whose early childhood was spent in the daycare pits of America.
