Your acts have consequences. It's a good thing to keep in mind.
The "you" being referred to there was Torricelli, not you. His actions led to his present situation. Like Nixon's actions led to his resignation.

At least you're admitting that there was pressing on the part of the Republicans. I've gotten you to admit that.
Aw, come on, gimme a break. Politics is always pushing and shoving and snarling and spitting and moaning and groaning. That's what the game is about. Anyone who can't stand the heat should not go into the kitchen.

The Democrats are doing an excellent job of detoothing their claim that Bush stole the 2000 election through legal trickery and stacked courts. Now they are attempting to do the same thing with a US Senate race.

So much for the moral high ground. "I'd rather be elected than right".
Good thing to keep in mind the next time TP or Duray claims Bush stole the election.
