DavesM,

You really do need some better sources of information.

Here's a map of the Rumailia complex:

lib.utexas.edu

FYI: Here's one of the best collection of maps on the Web:
lib.utexas.edu

Re: From what I could find, the Rumailia oil field sits on the Kuwait/Iraqi border - meaning both countries pump oil from the field.

Whatever you found was in error. The Kuwaiti royal family was slant drilling, with the complicity of U.S./UK oil services companies, and stealing Iraqi oil.

Re: Also from what I could find, Iraq's claim that Kuwait was "stealing oil" was due to the fact that Kuwait was shipping more oil than their OPEC allotment.

Unless you provide URLs your credibility is zero. Such a statement is preposterous on the face of it. It's illogical and you have offered no proof.
