I agree with you, OMD. The liberal solution is to rant about the rich, try to penalize success and get more money for poorly run government programs that tend to exacerbate problems rather than solve them, IMO.

That's an interesting question and I appreciate its tenor. -g
My answer is that when resources are scarce, I spend money the same way I did when my wallet was fat, except I saved less. I tend to think peoples' relationship with money is set relatively early in life and doesn't change much, regardless of their financial circumstances.
