A lot of people here are growing tobacco and mixing them with store bought. I buy the occasional pack from an Indian friend who gets them cheap at the duty free on the Res. We were on a trail ride to Plentywood Montana a few years back and I came back with a cartoon of Marlboro. I had seven horses in the trailer and health papers for only three. As I handed the export papers for the horses to the Customs Officer I said "how many packs of smokes can I bring back"? He completely forgot about the horses and was in the goose neck hunting for smokes. They would have seized all the animals and fined me for something, but the Yankee cigs saved the day. We hit the bar in Willowbunch to celebrate that little stunt.
