i lived downtown one year, also a few blocks from the brueggers but in the direction away from the river. it's not the best town for girls to hang out alone in at night so they are likely up at the frat parties if those haven't been clamped down on yet, the campus was getting stricter last i heard, it's a school where the people who are not buried in their books drink very heavily since there's not much else to do and there were lots of incidents relative to the size of the school imo. Is I LOVE NY pizza still open? across the street from Elda's? That was one good thing, you could get a decent slice there.
