I Love NY Pizza is still there. The bars I've been to are the fancier ones - Holmes and Watson, Uncle Sam Brewery and The Alehouse (on RIver Street north of Route 7 Collar City Bridge - it isn't fancy but has good beer etc.). I see plenty of women walking around on their own either mothers pushing babies at night. This is in the Downtown section. I don't venture too far south or north so I don' know what it is like there. When did you live here?
