Jay,

So the DOW, S&P, and NASDAQ are going down down down this coming week.

How does a J6P like me ( i dont understand all those fancy selling of puts and stuff) make money. Short the indexes?

suggestions?

the sort of events that could roll the indices back to 1990

That would be something! The closing highs in 1990 were approximately:

Dow: 3,000

S&P500: 370

Nasdaq: 470

<Unknown assailants apparently rammed a small boat packed with explosives into a French-owned oil supertanker as it pulled into Ash Shihr port in eastern Yemen, approximately 350 miles east of Aden, on Oct. 6. The tanker -- the Limburg -- burst into flames and now reportedly is sinking into the Arabian Sea.>

French terrorist state gets one back. Karma. Was the supertanker called 'Crude Warrior' by any chance?

Let's hope the French don't whine about terrorism.
