This is a very big if-- but if the actions of certain corrupt CEOs were to throw the US into a 1930s style depression (which I don't think their actions will accomplish, but, for the sake of argument), you could argue that the economic damage, personal suffering, increased suicide rates, etc. that would be inflicted to the 300M people in the US, plus the billion or so people in Japan, Europe, Mexico & Canada, whose economies would also tank in such a scenario, could outweigh the deaths of 3000 people.

No it is not. Take my statement with a pinch of salt, there is no logic in it, just the sheer frustration of someone who believed in the "American dream" and now is back to square one. And last but not least, the anger towards those that are manipulating downwards (presumably the SAME characters that were manipulating upwards). And that are STILL believed by the public.
